  • What should I expect during my first massage?
At Bamboo Spa, we want you to feel comfortable and relaxed. Before your massage begins, your therapist will discus any areas of concern, preferred pressure levels, and overall goals for the session. You will then be guided to relax on the massage table while the therapist works to relieve tension, improve circulation, and promote relaxation based on your chosen service.
  • What is the difference between Swedish, Deep Tissue, Full Body and Relaxing Massage?
Swedish Massage: A gentle, relaxing massage that uses long, flowing stroke to enhance relaxation and improve circulation. Deep Tissue Massage: Targets deeper muscle layers with firmer pressure, ideal for relieving chronic pain and muscle tension. Full Body Massage: A full body massage involves the manipulation of muscles and tissues to promote relaxation, relieve tension, and improve overall well-being. Relaxing Massage: Focuses on stress relief through calming strokes and gentle pressure to promote a peaceful state.
  • How should I prepare for my massage?
Arrive 10 minutes early to check in and relax before your appointment. It's best to avoid heavy meals and caffeine just before your session. Comfortable, loose-fitting clothes are recommended. You'll have privacy to undress to your comfort level, and your therapist will ensure that you are properly covered and comfortable during the massage.
  • What if I feel uncomfortable during my massage?
Your comfort is our top priority. If at any point you feel uncomfortable, whether it's the pressure, temperature, or any other aspect, please let your therapist know. They will adjust the massage to meet your preferences, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • How often should I get a massage?
The frequency depends on your needs and lifestyle. For general relaxation and stress relief, once a month is a good baseline. If you're dealing with chronic pain or muscle tension, you may benefit from more frequent sessions. Our therapists can recommend a schedule tailored to your wellness goals.
  • Can I choose my therapist?
Absolutely! If you have a preferred therapist, please let us know when you book your appointment, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.
  • What's the cancellation policy?
We understand that schedules can change. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Cancellations with less than 24-hour notice may be subject to a fee.
